C lint Mulder, with the help of his wife Spring, attended Grand Rapids Community College graduating in 1996 with a degree in Pre-Mortuary Science. For his professional training, Clint attended Worsham College of Mortuary Science (located in the Chicago suburb of Wheeling, IL) where he graduated first in his class of over one hundred students. His training continued with a year-long apprenticeship and was fully licensed in October of 1998. Clint worked at a local funeral home for four years until an unexpected layoff. With much prayer, the decision was made to start a new funeral home. Clint and Spring were joined by Robert and Meredith Ludema (Meredith is Clint's Aunt) The Ludema's had just sold the sod farm that they had worked for the previous 30 years. On January 10, 2004 the doors of C.S. Mulder Funeral Home were opened.
