Lawrence Douglas “Larry” Haver, age 65, of Pickford, Michigan passed away late Thursday evening, June 7, 2012 at War Memorial Hospital.

Larry was born on June 24, 1946 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan to the late Douglas and Doris (Norton) Haver. He graduated from DeTour High School and later worked for a telephone construction company. In July 1973, he married Linda Gehrke in Concord, New Hampshire. He enjoyed reading, collecting coins, and listening to country music. He loved to build things and work in his yard and garden. He always found something to keep himself busy.

Larry is survived by four children: Sandi D. Haver of Greenwood, WI, Sheri R. Emerson of West Newbury, VT, Raymond Petke of Withee, WI, and Tara L Taggart; and two grandchildren: Victoria and Gregory Mullally. He is also survived by his siblings: Sandra Libby of Onaway, MI, Doug Haver of Coldwater, MI, Dan Haver of Florida, Mike Rickard and Kenny Rickard both of Chesaning, MI, Peggy Gilmore of Union Lake, MI, and Sharon Baker of Raber, MI.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife: Linda (Gehrke) Haver (1979).

According to Larry's wishes, no public services will be held.
