James D. Brown, age 58, of Kinross, Michigan passed away Monday morning, July 23, 2012 at War Memorial Hospital.

James was born September 22, 1953 in Lansing, Michigan to the late Charles Emmit and Betty Lou (Dowell) Brown. He enjoyed playing cards and telling stories. He would help anyone by driving them around. His greatest joy was spending time with the family.

James leaves behind two daughters: Jamie Brown and Tina Brown both of Fairview, MI; two sons: James Brown of Sault Ste. Marie, MI and Jonathon Brown of Kinross, MI; and a few grandchildren. He is also survived by five siblings: David (Liz) Brown of Kinross, Mike (Annette) Brown of Kincheloe, MI, Judy Barnard of Kinross, MI, Tom Brown, and Richard Hoag of Sault Ste. Marie, MI as well as, many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday July 27, 2012 at C.S. Mulder Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Kinross Lakeview Cemetery following the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to help with funeral expenses.
